Get started with Image Presentation Component, upcoming events, and Thanksgiving.
This week on Step Into Vision
We have three new examples covering Image Presentation Component in RealityKit.
Loading Photos with Image Presentation Component. – This component allows us to display Standard and Spatial Photos. We can also generate Spatial Scenes from existing photos.
Explore Viewing Modes with Image Presentation Component. – The available viewing modes depend on the type of image the component is presenting.
Using Events with Image Presentation Component. – There are two events we can use to listen for changes to viewing mode, with some caveats.

We also published the second guest lab by Michael Temper.
Lab 095 – World, Local & Object Space. – This lab shows how movement works in World, Local and Object Spaces.
New in the resource library: Augmenos Code is a sample app that showcases some of visionOS features capabilities.
Event: Community Hangout NYC. For anyone in New York City this week, we’re going to get together on Wednesday evening.

Thanksgiving
This week is Thanksgiving in the US. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of you. Thank you for supporting Step Into Vision. Thanks for attending Office Hours. Thank you for helping me when I get stuck and for helping each other. Sharing knowledge is the core of Step Into Vision. The members of this community have been incredibly generous in that regard. I’m deeply grateful to be in such good company.
