Step Into Newsletter – February 6, 2026

Two Years of Apple Vision Pro.

As mentioned a few weeks ago, we’ve been on a bit of a hiatus. That is coming to a close and we’re getting back to work on the several community projects. We have new example code, developer tools, and articles in the works. A lot of these may be related to the Shared Visions project. We’ve made good progress so far and we’re getting to the point where the work is starting to snowball into something great. In fact, our next Shared Visions workshop is coming up next week. Make sure you join us then.

Members of the Step Into Vision community gathered on Feb 2, 2026 to celebrate and reflect on two years of Apple Vision Pro. They shared their stories, what they have been building, and what they hope to see next. We published some highlights and a guest book with links. Vision Pros and More Than Just Code graciously shared this community event.

Two Years of Apple Vision Pro with the Step Into Vision Community

From the Community

There’s been a lot of activity since our last newsletter so we won’t try to cover it all. Here are a few highlights.

Sam Baumel launched Primary: News in Depth featuring reporting and filling using Spatial Video.

Speaking of Spatial Video, Anthony Maes shared some thoughts on the topic after helping Sam with infrastructure for that project.

Jonathan Bereyziat published a SharePlayDemo with synchronized manipulation and input between device devices. Make sure to check out the video first.

I Spent Way Too Long Getting Blender Animations into Vision Pro by Mike Bundy

Luca Langella made an awesome really-time physics lab. Read the article and get the code.

The builders of the spatial experience platform Story launched StoryKit so developers can include these experiences in apps.

Mel Randall has been working on a new company called Arluma Studios. The website is now live. Stop by Office Hours today to hear all about it.

Jimmy Balladares just published Patito on the App Store. Now you can do rubber ducky development as long as you have your Apple Vision Pro.

That’s all for this week. We hope to see you at Office Hours.
