Project Graveyard – Devlog 005
Pinned editor regions and opening the TestFlight.
I just re-opened the TestFlight for this project. The new version is only supported on visionOS 26. If you are running the Beta, go check it out and let me know what you think.

Release Notes
Project Graveyard Version 3.0 moves all features from the utility window into popovers available inside the Graveyard Volume. This fits closer with my original vision from 1.0. I wanted to build an entire app in a volume and visionOS 26 adds new features that make that possible.
A new Toolbar offers simple controls
- Add records
- Switch between modes:
- Look / Preview: The default mode will allow you to pick up gravestones using the new Manipulation Component. You can inspect items in detail and drop them when you’re done. They will automatically return to their original position.
- Arrange / Move: You can use this mode to move gravestones around. Drag stones around, rotate them on the Y axis, and scale them up and down. Any changes in this mode are automatically saved.
- Edit: Use this mode to edit the text on the gravestone, delete items, or change materials and colors.
- Open app settings

Known Issues:
- Lighting may look too dim.
- Help / tips is currently unavailable
- Not all features from version 2.0 have been ported to the new volume-based popovers and presentations.
Pinned navigation in the editor
One feature that I want to point out is the new pin option for the Customize page of the Editor. When you tap on a gravestone in edit mode, a small popover appears with some options.
- Customize
- Edit
- Delete
Each of these navigates to another view. On the Customize view, there is a pin icon. Tap this to enable this mode. With this active, you can tap on gravestones to automatically open the Customize view instead of the root view. This makes it quick and easy to change materials and colors across many gravestones. See it in action in this video.
Let me know what you think of this feature and the app more generally.
