Your weekly recap from Step Into Vision.

This Week on Step Into Vision

New Example Code

How to scale RealityView content when a Volume is resized. This post shows a method to scale RealityView content based on the size of a Volume.

Spatial SwiftUI: Using Look to Scroll. We can let users look to scroll with the Scroll Input Behavior modifier in visionOS 26.

Spatial SwiftUI: Custom alignment with spatialOverlay. We can use AlignmentID to customize the alignment of a view within a .spatialOverlay.

From Project Graveyard

Project Graveyard – Devlog 006. This article describes the new record creation process and a the hacky way to set up some Lamp Post entities. These changes are available to try in TestFlight version 3.0 build 3.

Project Graveyard – Devlog 007. Dynamic lights in RealityKit don’t scale relative to their parent scene. This becomes an issue in volumes, which users can resize. We can address this by adjusting the intensity (value * scaler²) and attenuation radius (value * scaler) of our lights. This article documents this process. We’re working on a version of this as a RealityKit System that you can add to your projects.
