Step Into Newsletter – November 7, 2025
Dive deep into animations, check out events on the Community Calendar, and load up with plenty of weekend reading.
This week on Step Into Vision
We’re starting to document Reality Composer Pro Timelines with new Example Code posts. The plan is to write an entire series covering the basics, some advanced features, and some use cases. For now, we have two quick examples.
Working with Behaviors. – We can use Behaviors in Reality Composer Pro run Timelines that contain one or more Actions.
Timelines: Working with Notifications. – Sending notifications from code to trigger a behavior, and sending notifications from a timeline to trigger code.
Next up we have an incredible article on animation from Cristian Díaz: Deep Dive into Animation on visionOS. This article takes us on a tour of the animation concepts and tools available in visionOS development. We’ll be working hard to bring you Example Code covering these concepts.

We also have an update about the Step Into Vision website. We added an early preview of our new Community Calendar. The idea is to build a single place to track all the events, meetups, workshops, and hackathons happening in our community. You can find a few events already listed and submit your own for consideration.
There are three events we want to spotlight. Apple is hosting in-person workshops for visionOS developers in December. They’ve listed events in New York, Berlin, and London. You may see some members of Step Into Vision at these if you attend.

Just in case you need something to wear to these events, we’ve got you covered (haha). Get your own Step Into Vision shirt.

Shared Visions Update
We need help with the writing process! Tell us your story by answering some questions. We’ll use the answers to inform the writing and theme process. A special thanks to Mel Randall for crafting these questions.
Catch up: Shared Visions: A call for Stories
This article also includes a description of the app we’re aiming to create. We’re working on scheduling some new community events and work sessions. In the meantime, please tell us how you arrived in the Apple Vision Pro community.
