Playing with particles and getting ready for WWDC.

There are only a few days left to the start of WWDC 2025 and it seems like the visionOS community is as excited as ever. I can’t wait to see what’s new in visionOS.

From the Labs

I’ve been on vacation for most of this week, but I made time last week to work on some labs.

Lab 055 – Using SF Symbols in Particle Emitters – We can create Texture Resources to be used in our Particle Emitters.

Lab 056 – Using Emoji in Particle Emitters – We can render emoji as Texture Resources to be used in our Particle Emitters.

Lab 057 – Using Opacity Component with Particle Emitters – We can use Opacity Component on an entity with a Particle System to fade out all particles together.

Lab 058 – Particles Emitting Particles – We can setup the main particle emitter to spawn sub-particles.

Community Event

Calling visionOS developers, join us for a recap of the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union. We’ll talk about all the new announcements for visionOS and what we’re most excited about building.
