Widgets, clocks, and popovers on gravestones.
Example Code
This week I kicked off a series of examples to explore Widgets on visionOS. Coming soon in visionOS 26, widgets are a simple but powerful way for users to customize their space.
Getting started with visionOS Widgets – Create your first widget and learn four key concepts that make widgets so compelling on visionOS.
Adding content and options for configuration – Building widget content and adding user configuration options.
Simple Interactions – Widgets can be interactive, but not in the same way as our SwiftUI windows. This example takes you through to steps to create interactive elements and animate changes.
Other Work
Lab 074 – Mocking up a clock using Radial Layout – I used this mock up a simple animated clock. I used the Radial layout that we say in Lab 067. I might try to bring this to a widget next. It could be interesting to get an animation like this working with the constraints of Widgets.

Project Graveyard – Devlog 003 – I managed to grab some time to work on my side project. I started revamping the toolbar and app settings.

Step Into Vision Needs Your Help
We recently announced a new YouTube channel for Step Into Vision. If you haven’t already done so, please go subscribe. We’re working on videos and planning the launch. As part of the expansion in scope for the Step Into Project, we have created new social media accounts.
That’s where you come in. We need help spreading the word about these accounts. If you use any (or all) of these platforms, please go follow us. Each account has a pinned post with a short demo reel of Examples and Labs. It would mean a lot if you could share that post with your followers and friends.
