Dark Spaces – Devlog 003

What if the primary way to select from the list of dark spaces in a dark hallway?

I created a basic light fixture out of some primitive shapes and a spotlight. I played with the shape of the spot light to find something that looks real enough, but also not quite right. Is this light really coming from that?

Then I created a Corridor scene with walls, floor, and ceiling. I used the concrete material from the asset library for the floor. The walls and ceiling have regular PBR materials. I added just hint of dark emissive color to the walls to fake a bit of extra light.

I saved both of these as new scenes so I can assemble longer corridors with them. Next, I’ll create another segment type with doors that can lead into other scenes.
