Step Into Newsletter – March 6, 2026

Two announcements from Step Into Vision, new examples, resources, and a huge list of community updates.

This week on Step Into Vison

First off, we have some big news for you. Step Into Vision LLC was officially founded on Feb 27th, 2026. Prior to this Step Into Vision was owned and operated by Radical Application Development, the consulting company owned by Joseph Simpson. RAD may continue to provide support and infrastructure, but the new company will eventually assume all operational responsibilities. It may seem like a boring step, but it is a vital one in our journey. This new entity will publish Shared Visions and will continue to build the best hub for the Apple Vision Pro community.

We’ve mentioned it a few times over since the beginning of Step Into Vision, but we’re finally launching a podcast. Hosted by Paolo PV, this new show will bring you interviews and discussions from the incredible members of our community. Check out the landing page, listen to the trailer, and get subscribed now so you don’t miss our first episode.

New Example Code:

How to build Synced Window Sets in visionOS. – Learn how to use two simple SwiftUI features to build a set of Windows that can be moved as a group.

How to Open a Grid of Windows in visionOS. – We can open windows placed relative to existing windows, creating custom grid formations.

Video Recap: Community Meeting (February 25, 2026). This meeting we reviewed the story arc and interview questions. We even took time to do a mock interview and share notes on the format. We also started thinking about how to break up the app dev work and how to capture videos from our participants.

Video Recap: Community Meeting (March 4, 2026). Topics include researching Apple hosted assets, implementing video hosting, and finalizing the interview process.

We’re putting the finishing touches on the interview questions and gearing up for the first round of interviews!
