In Place of a Newsletter

Hello and Happy Friday! This is when I would normally send you a weekly recap from Step Into Vision. This week I’m going to break with that format. Over the last 16 months I’ve been working hard to bring you Example Code and Labs that cover visionOS development. As I mentioned in the newsletter last week, that work is far from complete. There are so many topics to cover and examples to write.

Over the last few months I’ve teased a few other initiatives. I shared an early look at these last August. Along the way, I’ve collected a new team of incredible people. Today I’m taking a short hiatus from the code and content. I’m doing this for a few reasons.

1. I’m so very tired! The daily cadence from 2025 was awesome, but it took a lot out of me. I need some time to rest and recover.
2. We’re working on some structural changes to the website itself. These changes will be a lot easier if we can pause content publishing for a short time.
3. We working on so many new things for 2026. Seriously. I can’t go into specific details today, but I am incredibly excited about what we’re going to do in 2026.

This break will be short. Maybe one to three weeks. In the meantime, we’ll continue to run office hours as normal. We’ll also provide some early information about these new initiatives in our community Discord server. If you’re not a member and want to join, please send us a note using the contact form.
