Step Into Newsletter – April 3, 2026

Step Into Vision at WWDC, Shared Visions, and Community Updates.

What’s new from Step Into Vision?

Apple sent the WWDC invite emails yesterday. From the Step Into Vision team, both Paolo and myself got the accepted. Unfortunately, Mike and Jimmy didn’t. But we’re determined to make it a fun week. The four of us will be there, along with Steve, Mathew and many others from the visionOS community. Paolo has even create several events for us throughout the week! We’ll update updates for you on these events as we get closer to June. I’m sure Paolo will have a lot to say on the podcast too. Here are the latest episodes:

Episode 002: Building AuraTap – Paolo is joined by Phil and Artur to discuss the launch of their new app, AuraTap.

Episode 002: Part 2 – Cardboard Mac – Part two of Episode 002 features a longer conversation with Phil Traut. Paolo and Phil discuss great UX and design across XR and Apple Vision Pro.

Shared Visions Updates

We’re getting ready to start our first round of interviews for the Shared Visions Project. At our next weekly meeting we’re going to run an Interviewer Workshop. We’ll go over best practices, review the interview structure, and talk about how to get matched up with participants. Make sure to attend if you want to participate in interviewing your peers. If you can’t make it, watch for the link to recording in the Discord.

Until then, catch up with the latest from the Design & UX Team. Oliver has been running workshops and the team is working on some great stuff.
